Who Can Get Help?
Those seeking assistance must be a cancer patient engaged in treatment and currently under the care of a medical and/pr radiation oncologist. Caregivers and family members also may request assistance on behalf of the patient.
How Do I Get Help?
Ask your doctor or nurse for
a CCFOT referral slip, complete a referral slip online and
mail it to CCFOT, or call 866-461-8488 to schedule an appointmet
where we can meet and discuss your needs. We will ask you
to sign a patient privacy agreement to allow us to work
on your behalf.
What Type of Help is Offered?
Emotional Support. We can listen and also direct you to a number of support groups and programs in the Tidewater area.
Financial Advocate. The Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater will make every effort to assist you in finding solutions to financial problems you have incurred due to your cancer diagnosis and treatment.
